| Know the Best Days to be a Buyer or a Seller? Certain strong patterns emerge in the markets over time which you might want to consider. Personally, I don't trade against them. During the last trading day and the first 3 or 4 days of the month the stock market tends to move upwards (it's bullish.) Studies have also discovered market strength in the S&P 500 Index on the days before market holidays. These holidays include Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th July, Labour Day, Thanks Giving, Christmas Day, New Years Day and Martin Luther King Day. These discoveries were made by Norman Fosback and Arthur Merrill and Fosback tested it... The results were outstanding.. 10,000 USD turned into 4,600,000 USD. Fact. This test investment was made in the S&P 500 and the money was just invested during the days just mentioned. And when used with your proven trading method, this will give you a huge edge in the markets. The Year End Rally With this little gem you just buy about 2 days before Thanksgiving (22nd November) and hold until the end of the year. I know it sounds crazy, but over the last 70 years a whopping 45% of the market's total profit has been during this period. Sell in May and Go Away? The idea here is to buy in November and then sell the next April. Simple. With this easy little gem of a method 10,000 USD turned into 276,110 USD when invested for just under 50 years. OK, it's no where near as good as turning 10,000 to 4.6 million USD!- But it's still pretty good.
